Ohio Crop Progress

by David Benning | Apr 24, 2017

The state of Ohio has been hit and miss over the last week, when it comes to planting. The northern half of the state has received more rain which has slowed down their efforts, while southern Ohio kept the planters rolling. To date, the state average for corn planting is 8-10% and soybeans at roughly 5%. A lot of field work has already been completed so once conditions are fit, we will see planters in the field. This week’s forecast looks favorable, warm and dry, more areas should be able to get a good start or even complete their planting!
