New Soybean Products for 2018 Planting

LG Seeds has announced new soybean products that will be available for sale in 2017-2018 for planting in the spring of 2018. 13 new Genuity® Roundup Ready 2 Xtend® products, 1 new Genuity® Roundup Ready 2 Yield® product and 4 new LibertyLink® products. Genuity® Roundup Ready 2 Xtend®

C1000RX has very high yield potential with a gorgeous look. Medium height plants are uniform with lots of pods and branches. Superior agronomics and stress tolerance. Resistance against SCN, PRR and BSR. Very high tolerances for IDC and WM.

C1414RX is a great defensive product with superior agronomics, disease protection and higher yields. Attractive at harvest producing top end yields across the entire Group I maturity zone. Contains 2 genes for resistance to PRR, along with resistance to SCN and BSR. High tolerance is shown against Iron Deficiency Chlorosis and White Mold.

C1838RX is a complete package of high yields and agronomics. Performs well across the late Group I and the early Group II zone. Medium tall with a thin-line canopy. Stands well with a great defensive package against IDC, PRR, SDS, BSR, WM and SCN.

C2201RX furnishes high yields, super standability and great defense. A moderate sized canopy that is an attractive golden tawny at harvest. The disease includes against IDC, PRR (2 genes), SDS, BSR, WM and SCN.

C2535RX shows consistent performance across environments, has very high yields and strong agronomics. Medium tall with a moderate stature. Resistance-PRR, BSR, SCN; high tolerance-IDC; good scores against SDS. Excellent emergence with strong performance under stress.

C2888RX produces dominating yields across the entire Corn Belt. Has the look and stature of C3466R2 – taller and branchy. High stress tolerance from bushy plants that adapt well from east to west. Superior defensive traits including protection from IDC, PRR, WM, SDS, BSR, and SCN.

C3010RX exhibits excellent agronomics and disease characterizations. Moderately statured plants are consistent and uniform having very high yield potential in research plots. Disease package protects with: resistance to BSR and SCN; excellent scores against SDS & White Mold; highly tolerant to PRR and IDC. Best performance has been on well-drained prairie soils in Indiana, Illinois and Iowa.

C3489RX dominates and is higher yielding than C3550RX, having similar height and stature. Bushy medium tall plants that adapt well from east to west. Superior defensive traits including protection from IDC, PRR, SDS, BSR, Stem Canker, Frog Eye and SCN. A consistent and uniform line across the entire Midwest with good stress tolerance.

C3775RX provides top notch yield potential, is related to C3989R2, and has an attractive medium tall, bushy style. Superior defensive traits including protection from PRR, SDS, Stem Canker, Frog Eye and SCN. Excellent stress tolerance.

C3985RX is broadly adapted from Ohio to Kansas. A High yielding product that has great agronomic features, and has a taller, bushy, wide profile. Stands well with a defensive package including PRR tolerance, tolerance to Frog Eye, SDS protection, stem canker resistance and SCN resistance. Very high stress tolerance, and handles variable soils well.

C4227RX provides consistent and solid yield performance in the west and Mid-South. Offers producers a choice of herbicide options, being stacked with sulfonylurea tolerance. Superior defensive traits including PRR tolerance, excellent SDS, Stem Canker resistance, average ratings against Frog Eye, and SCN protection.

C4710RX provides herbicide options – stacked with sulfonylurea tolerance. A stable high yielding product, with an attractive tall bushy plant style that handles variable & stressful soils. Disease package protects with: Resistance to SCN, PRR & Stem Canker; highly rated against Frog Eye & SDS; susceptible to Root Knot Nematodes; very good tolerance against green stem.

C4922RX is a top performing product that is stacked with sulfonylurea tolerance. Performs well in the mid-south, Delta and west; and is an indeterminate plant type. Great agronomic features including great standability and a defensive package including PRR resistance, SDS protection, Stem Canker resistance and SCN resistance and is an excluder for salts.

Genuity® Roundup Ready 2 Yield®

C0850R2 is broadly adapted across the northern regions and is high yielding product. Has great agronomics and superior disease protection. Bushy, medium height plants with good branching stand well for harvest.

®

C2443LL has top end yield potential and great agronomics with a strong defense. A medium tall plant with profuse branching. Resistance to SCN, BSR & PRR; Defense - SDS, WM, IDC, CHR. Superior performance on all soils from east to west.

C3776LL provides top end yield potential from attractive, taller, bushy plants. Consistent performance is found across the Midwest with superior agronomics and defense. Resistant to SCN and PRR; Excellent tolerance to Charcoal Rot; Strong defense: SDS, Stem Canker and Frog Eye. Handles diverse environments well.

C4365LL is high yielding addition to the LibertyLink® product list. Widely adapted with very good defense and agronomics. Moderately tall with a medium bush canopy. A herbicide stack, it coveys tolerance to both Liberty® and sulfonylurea herbicides. Resistant to SCN, PRR & Stem Canker; highly tolerant to SDS, Charcoal Rot, Frog Eye. Adapts to all soils and fertility levels. Standability can soften on highly productive soils.

C4842LL brings exceptionally high yields and is agronomically sound with solid performance. Moderately tall with a very bushy canopy. Resistant to SCN, PRR & Stem Canker; highly tolerant to SDS, Charcoal Rot, Frog Eye; average tolerance to Root Knot Nematodes. Adapts to all soils and fertility levels. Best performance has been on mixed to loamy soils. Suitable for double cropping.

ALWAYS READ AND FOLLOW PESTICIDE LABEL DIRECTIONS. Roundup Ready® crops contain genes that confer tolerance to glyphosate, the active ingredient in Roundup® brand agricultural herbicides. Roundup® brand agricultural herbicides will kill crops that are not tolerant to glyphosate. Roundup Ready 2 Xtend® soybeans contains genes that confer tolerance to glyphosate and dicamba. Glyphosate will kill crops that are not tolerant to glyphosate. Dicamba will kill crops that are not tolerant to dicamba.
