Sudden Death Syndrome in Soybeans

One major disease that will start to show up soon is Sudden Death Syndrome (SDS). The disease symptoms typically occur after flowering and during the early to middle stages of pod fill. The leaves of the plant are a key giveaway for this disease, as seen in the picture below. Selecting varieties that are rated highly against SDS, along with the proper seed treatment such as AgriShield Max Plus Saltro, will help ensure these issues don’t remain persistent year over year.
